I play the S 80 now, but I want a darker more piercing tone. I play strictly concert classical music. I'm going to order the Meyer or the Morgan, which would you suggest? Also, what facings are comparable to the c*?

You want dark AND piercing? That seems somewhat at odds to me.
I look for the tone and response I want, and supply the volume/projection myself.

Darker more piercing sounds difficult to answer.
I play a Hite Classical on Mk VI alto in concert band. Sounds similar to a Morgan 3C to my ear although I prefer the Hite. The ability of subtle to full power is possibly piercing if you mean loud.
I have a caravan med that is quite beautiful and mellow but has more resistance, which could be said never to be piercing.
I can't use the meyer 5m for classical as I find it has a brightness that seems too abrasive to my way of hearing classical concert music although one of our assistant directors can blend decent with it.
If you are looking for a sweet classical tone with some ability to stand out I'd recommend the Morgan from your choices, though if you can still get a Hite they are worth a try. Dark and with some presence.
