I play in this community college band in Pasadena, CA. It's the usual cast of characters: a bunch of guys (well, there's three of us "chicks") who have day jobs and families, and we haunt the halls of the school at night in order to get access to cool charts and a rehearsal room.

Anyhow, somehow, we managed to schmooze a little pocket change out of the administration, and being musicians (who can't be trusted with money), we immediately spent that and more recording a CD over a couple of weekends. I'm buried in the mix, of course (bari players get no respect!), but I'm in there somewhere. If anyone would like to have a listen, I've posted RealAudio clips at:

Enjoy, and feel free to post any feedback!

P.S. And if you want to help us get out of our budgetary red ink, drop me a note and I'll sell you a CD!

Hi, Ron,

The CD was recorded at Private Island Trax in Hollywood, and you can check out the studio setup here:

http://privateislandtrax.com/

The sound engineer, Brian Freidman, is not only a magician when it comes to working with groups like this, but he's a heckuva nice guy. If you'd like a copy of the CD, drop me an e-mail and I'll get back to you with the particulars.

Thanks,
Leanne
