I'm looking for a good condition, vintage, high-end King, Buescher or Conn tenor, needing no work and well set up. Ideally looking for Silver plate model with good engraving but will consider others.

Thanks for all the replies and PM's - I should have mentioned that ideally I would like to buy from a UK source where I can have a look AT and play of the horn. If I can't find what I'm after I'll start looking further afield.

Woodwind Exchange in Bradford is your best bet. Large, ever-changing stock of vintage horns. I've posted this several times so do a search for the address and number.

It's obviously a long way for you to travel but give them a call to see what they have and then decide. You can spend all day there trying out horns if you like.
