Does anybody have any experience on a Jupiter JTS-25Y? I have been learning alto for some time with a Yamaha YAS-475, and now I felt like switching to Tenor, or perhaps doubling, and went trying some Jupiter models. There was a special model in the shop, JTS-25Y, that felt particularly nice to me. I tried to find more info with Google but found only very very little.

best regards

Hannu

So I went and bought the JTS-25Y. It seems to be some kind of 25 year anniversary model. According to the person in the store, it is an enhanced 789. A very visible change is the silver neck. I tried a 500-series Jupiter tenor, a 789 and this one. This is the first time I've tried a tenor. I really like the 25Y, it plays easily and has a nice tone.

Great post, klez. I would love to see some pictures, if you wouldn't mind. I've never heard of this sax. 8-)
