Buescher BU4---Should I buy?

I played Alto Sax though college but have been away from it about 5/6 years. Am gonna play with my church band and was wondering how this sax is. Any help is appreciated!!

Some posters have had good experiences with the NEW Bueschers (what blasphemy, by the way; a once revered name - and still is when it comes to vintage stuff). But the one soprano I saw was so crudely constructed that I didn't even ask to play it (while I did play a curved Cannonball at the same time).

For the same money you'll pay for a new BU-4, get a vintage Buescher Aristocrat (pre-Selmer), have it tuned up, and be WAY ahead in sound, value and resale potential.
