To complete my collection, I'd like to acquire a very late model Buescher C melody sax, one which was mfd near the end of their run, if possible, and certainly at least serial number 200xxx plus.Do you know how long the run was? The latest Buescher C-mel that I know of is the one I own, #256k (1930). However – I have a 1937 catalog showing a small photo of an "Aristocrat" engraved C-mel.

Just for curiosity's sake, what sort of collection are you completing? It sounds as tho you share my fetish for white elephants: saxes made later than they "should have" been made. I've found some great ones.
