Yamaha Alto 62 - Silver Plated - Question

Someone have or test this horn ?? What is the opinion ?? The horn sound more brightly than the other model ( YAS - 62 lacquer ) ??

ronaldodn: I bought a soprano 62 silver-plated (YSS62S) about 12 years ago, played it for a long time, then passed it on to my daughter. It was bright but soon the unremarkable sound wore on me. I've also tested several silver alto Customs - and they too were unremarkable to my ears. Lastly, I tested a lacquered new 62 recently - same thing - I bought a 1925 Conn Chu when I played it next to the silver Custom and the new 62. DAVE
