Buffet SDA soprano

Has anyone played or know anything about the SDA soprano? General value?

I owned one, near mint, purchased a year or so ago for about $1500, as I recall. I didn't like it, but then I don't like the straights anyway, and I sold it for what I paid. I recall the neck somewhat short, and as a result it was unsuitable for some modern mouthpieces. I wouldn't pay more than that even if I wanted one, just thinking in terms of resale.
