Royal jazz

I just bought a Royal Jazz. The body in good shape the horn is not playable. I would like to know more personal info about these instruments. What is the comparison of sound vers the other styles, dose the tuner on the neck make change the sound? Is this a different horn then the regular dolnets other than the F# key. The horn seem to be heavier than my other horns. Is this the Royal Jazz or are dolnet heavy instruments.
