I've got an SML Alto sax, serial number 64xx. I did some quick research on the web tonight and believe it's a revision B horn (vintage late-40s). The bell is engraved with "Model 47", which I couldn't find any references to on the
internet. Does it mean anything special to anyone? It doesn't have "Super" or "Standard" marking like I was expecting based on the articles I found.

I played this sax in high school some 25 years ago and it played well then, but has been in storage ever since.

Do you have a feel for what it might be worth?
