Does anyone know if the Buffet Crampon Baritone in Dynaction or SuperDynaction models was ever produced without the name "Dynaction" or "SuperDynaction" engraved on the body somewhere? Anyone ever play one? I have a SuperDynaction alto that I love, and recently saw a bari. It has all of the ornate engraving and "arty" covering over the bell keys with mother of pearl inserts and the Buffet emblem on the bell brace, but does not have "Dynaction" or "SuperDynaction" engraved. It looks like my SuperDynaction in key appearance. It is not an Evette. It does have Buffet Crampon engraved on the bell.

I just checked my SDA low A bari, and there is no Super Dynaction markings on it. I think if the body-to-bell brace has the BC letters, it is a SDA. Great sounding horns! I especially like how the palm keys sound like the rest of the horn, a common problem with baris.

Thanks. I suspected as much. There were just too many similarities of this bari compared to my SD alto for it to not be a SD. If the intonation is as good as the alto, it should be great. I hope to get a chance to try it.
