I purchased an L.A. Sax soprano brand new in 1997. I've heard that some years they were produced and are considered pretty decent horns while other years they were pretty crappy. Is there a way I can tell what period my horn is from? I think its a decent horn, I don't play it very often and can't play it very well, and the laque is coming off and I have some rust spots... but other than that not too bad...
