selmer new york question

hey ive got a selmer new york alto with the serial number 111453 its kinda old what is this horn?

Difficult to say without seeing it. Both Conn and Buescher made stencils sold as Selmer New York.

Easiest was is conn neck screw is on the right (and usually mercedes badge sign on the low C guard) and buescher screw is on the left

I have seen a number of these "Selmer New York" horns for sale on Ebay. They look like Beuschers from 1930. Should I buy one? Probably resell better than Beuschers with the "Selmer" snobbery adding at least $200. But are they really any good?
