What is this mouthpiece worth?

I have an early 1970's Berg HR 130/3 that I acquired through a trade. I'm very hesitant to sell it, but I received some bad financial news and I need to make some money quickly. I do not want to sell it for too little, so I'm trying to guage what it's value is if I wind up with no choice but to sell.

The real world prices can be gauged on eBay by searching completed auctions, those that reach reserve prices and actually result in a transaction... you may find a few gems in the case, but a Berg will likely sell between $75 and $125 at auction.

You could hold out for more, but it's not exactly a collector's item.

For what it's worth, you may be better served holding it in play until you're shopping for a larger sound.

Hey kevvieg...

The last time I was in Long & McQuade's they took a look at my berg and told me to hang onto it, that it was worth a fair bit. like $250+ Cdn. Do you know Ken Fornetran? He might have an idea.
