Wouldn't it be cool if we had a part of the site where you could see pictures of all different kinds of saxes, and SOTW members could add photos of their unique saxes to it too?

It's been done (www.saxpics.com)

Thanks for the plug, Brendan.

Harri does have a small gallery of his own pics around someplace, although I have most of them duplicated on my website.

* If you or anyone else want to donate pictures, send them to me at saxpics@gmail.com or saxpics@hotmail.com and I will eventually categorize and post them. I generally work on a make at a time and those pics get published first. I'm working on Buescher this year.
* Note that I'm still working on the SOTW/www.saxpics.com Fundraiser Calendar project. See http://www.saxontheweb.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=18699. You still have time to donate pics for that!

If you're talking about an SOTW-members-only saxophone picture gallery, we don't have the server space here to do that. However, if somebody wants to donate a few hundred more $ for it, I can look into getting a server-space upgrade, installing one of the vBulletin portals and a installing a picture gallery add-on you can post to.

I meant a place on the site where SOTW members can contribute sax pics, but anyone can view them, not just members. But, it has apparently been done.

Saxpics, do you own saxpics.com? That's the website I was basing my suggestion on. If you do own it, is it associated with SOTW?

Saxpics, do you own saxpics.com? That's the website I was basing my suggestion on. If you do own it, is it associated with SOTW?Yes, I "own" it, in the sense of I'm the one that slaps the content up there. The webspace and domain name were donated to me by one of SOTW Forum's members, MBushaw, and it's his server.

I've been "saxpics" for longer than www.saxpics.com has been around. "Saxpics" is easier to say than "The Vintage Saxophone Gallery Dude". :)

If people start donating to my website and the Calendar Project does well, I hope to float some cash MBushaw's way to upgrade the speed.

It's associated with SOTW in the sense of me being associated with SOTW: I work on this Forum and I write the occasional article for the SOTW main 'site.

Several folks that have contributed articles, etc. for my website are members of the SOTW Forum.
