Buescher Aristocrat alto, serial 288xxx, for sale or trade (soprano, tenor, email me for trade suggestions).

The story: I already have a Buescher aristocrat alto in similar condition, and since this was my second one I am letting this one go in the interest of getting more room, or more likely another horn. When I got this horn it had many of the original metal-backed snap-in pads and had been sitting on a top shelf in a warehouse for a very long time. I have since overhauled it, chemically removing the original lacquer (had turned black from being in a warehouse without a case for 20+ years) and hand-polishing.

Stats:
Bare brass finish. White roopads, white rooglue shellac, all original snap-in resonators except two, both in small upper pads. Teflon on all metal-to-metal contact surfaces, white felts, body in very good condition- dents professionaly removed with overhaul. Engraving in wonderful condition, horn has never been buffed. Plays as beautiful as it looks- indistinguishable to me to my other aristocrat, which is my main horn. If I didn't already have the exact same horn, I would never get rid of it.

Price $900, or reasonable trade. Email me at abadcliche at gmail dot com for more info, pictures, trade offers, etc.

Thanks for looking!

forgot to mention: all flat springs were replaced, and all original norton springs are still intact and in good working order.

The edit lamp is out thruout the For Sale section. Don't want folks changing descriptions of goods for sale, at least not without a pixel trail.

Nice splashpage, abad. Let us know when more goes up.

White RooPads...hmm...my gold True-Tone tenor needs pads soon...then again...why are they only used on Bueschers?
