Conn Transitional Tenor Sax for sale. Serial # 253.xxx.
Very good structural condition. Plays throughout but sound is weak and really this horn deserves a proper repadding so it can roar!
Probably issued in bare brass and then laquered later so not technically a relaquer. You could have it restored to bare brass when having it repadded.
Plain jane-no engraving.
Ships in a brand new and very nice Pro-tec gig bag, about as good quality a gig bag as I have ever seen.
Priced to sell at $1150. Put an overhaul on it and you will have a tremendous horn at a great price.
