This piece still available since we could not quite get it together on a trade--a
word to the wise though--10M fan has the best pieces! I've swapped 4 or 5
times with him and each of the mp's he's sent are in the top 5% of my large
pile o' pieces.

Changing to trade only on the Link--looking for vintage New York USA or New
York Meyer Bros. altos.

Hi there

I wish that I had exactly what you are looking for but I've got a number of things I would be willing to trade for the mouthpiece that might be as interesting. Please email me at someotherblues@hotmail.com.

Hi there

I'm very interested in your Otto Link tenor mouthpiece. I'm willing to trade an old NY HR Otto Link Tone Edge with the signature on a slant and no usa for alto, plus a long shank Soloist E (on the table) for tenor, plus a Winslow ligature +cap, and accessory pack for alto.

The Link plays alot like my old NY Meyer, but it projects quite a bit more with that same edge and bright quality of the Meyer. Its a 5, and is untouched. There are some superficial ligature scratches but none affect the playability of the piece. If you want a NY Meyer, this is the same age, half the price, and just as good in my opinion. A good NY Meyer Bros. for alto will usually run you between $650-$1000+, depending on the facing and age. I'm selling this piece because I'm using a short shank soloist that JVW opened, that doesn't really compare to anything else I've tried (Meyer Bros., Link, Brilhart).

The Soloist, is also an original facing. Its in great shape, but its just not the sound I'm looking for on tenor. Very very very, minor discoloring that doesn't affect the playability.

If you are interested, I'd be willing to trade both pieces, and an alto Winslow ligature w/ cap and accessory pack. I'm sure you are aware of all the values, but I think your getting more than your asking price.

Link - $250 - $300
Selmer - $200 - $300
Winslow - $120 - $200

I'm located in Toronto, and would make sure that the pieces were priority shipped to your house, and insured.

Please let me know if you are interested. I hope we can make a deal. My email address is someotherblues@hotmail.com
