about the tip

i just bought a berg metal 95 sms 0 for $40. but the tip is not that rounded. i think is a manufacture problem. but when i tried it it sound ok to me. the right side is a bit in. ~~hope u guys know wat i meant.

the problem for me is i never play another berg so i dont know how much it will affect the sound. any idea?

Got any pictures? If it plays OK for you it is probably not a big deal. You can shape the end of your reed to match the curve (if this is what you mean). If it is dented, this can be a big deal. It will probably squeek on you.

nop. idont have digital camera. thanks for ur help. i think the mpc is ok cos i tried another from my friend. only thing is mine is a bit darker sound although is same size and model.
