Dave Brubeck Quartet with Bobby Militello

I went to see them last night - fantastic stuff. Bobby Militello was incredible on alto sax (and flute). Anybody know his set-up, I was too far away to see?

Yes, a great live experience. Keep in mind Dave Brubeck is around 80 years old. Amazing how vital he becomes when sitting before a piano.

I cannot tell you much about Bobby's setup, it looks like he is using a silver plated Olegature, most probably the one for clarinet.

I saw them two nights ago in Birmingham - the last gig before they go back to the States. I too couldn't see what Bobby's setup was but the playing was absolutely amazing. Almost every time Bobby played a solo, Mr Brubeck just leant on his piano with a grin from ear to ear. It was the sort of uplifting musical experience that comes along once in a while and you wish the whole world could share it.
