I can't imagine anyone falling for this awkward scam attempt, but there's probably someone out there - not on SOTW, of course - who thinks it's legit.

D'you think we should report this guy for trying to use "saxophone" in the aid of terrorist organizations or despotic governments?

Yeah, I receive about 5-10 of those a day. Sometimes I e-mail them back with:

"I would like 3 large pizzas, 2 buckets of chicken wings, and a liter of REALITY!!!"

Funny enough, I never get my pizzas or wings, and I guess they figured I had enough reality already. hmmm... sure could of used the pizza.

Your "buyer" did everything but propose to send you MORE than the "saxophone" was worth, with the condition that you send him back the difference. (Yeah, another beauty of a scam that has made the rounds.)

Tell that cat in Nigeria to go back to what he does best -- Asking me to help him move $56 million out of his country into my bank account.

HAW!!

Steve, just imagine how many saxophones you will be able to buy after you receive your $56,000,000.
