Hi,
does anyone know when Keilwerth started to differentiate between a Toneking and a Toneking spezial and what the difference between the two models is? Any help appreciated - I am looking at a model that was given to the German army, S/N 28xxx, which only has "Julis Keilwerth" in kursive on the bell and no model designation. If I am correct in my understanding, the presence of a high-F# (as on this one) makes it a Toneking, not a New King but beyond that I am lost. It has rolled tone holes and a metal "winged" keyguard (plastic on the rear) but I think this applied to all models?
All information appreciated!
Kind regards to all,
Donizetti
