could i use a quatum for concert band? i will get in jazz band this year because our whole saxsection is seniors and leaving and thers very few saxes coming into high school. so i wanted to buy a mouthpeice i could use for jazz band and concertband.

The Quantum is a very nice sounding mpc, though I think it's too "up-front" for concertband. For both jazz band and concertband, IMO the Custom would be more appropriate.

Hi!

I believe that Kim has given you proper info on this question. The Quantum is a beautiful mouthpiece and plays well but for concert band however the Custom would be more appropiate for that purpose due to blending qualities.
