On alto he has a metal Yanagisawa, soprano is a Dukoff.
Sorry I don't know about his reeds.

I believe your right on the mouthpieces.
I will ask him next time he needs his horns tweaked.

Paul for a long time has been using a Yamaha YSS-62 that he has had forever. However, a few months ago, he switched to a Yanagisawa S991. This is mainly because he has started to hold his horn in a way that his spit trail on his Yamaha leads directly into the main octave pip.
So the hole would get spit filling it up and start causing playing problems. He bought the Yanagisawa S991 from me mainly because of the top mounted octave pip.
Last I talked to him (a few weeks ago), he was trying to re-form the spit trail on the Yamaha because the Yamaha does have a brighter, lighter tone that he likes.
Also, on mouhtpiece, he now uses Dave Guardala mouthpieces (bebop models if I remember correctly) on both alto and soprano (I sold him both of those as well).
Hope that helps.
