I did a search, but found nothing on the rubber tenor model other than that that it's pretty spread. Does anyone have any other feedback on them? I like how they are (supposedly) pretty bright, and quite affordable. I would use it for big band a straight ahead jazz, on a YTS-23, so I'm a little worried about their spread sound on an already-thin sax.

i have some experience w/lakey /tenor. they are much brighter than most rubber or plastic mpcs. i have only played the 6*3 and 8*3 the 6 could work for big band and would have ample power for solos. the 8is a monster and is as loud and bright as ANY mpc . not for big band . lakeys are a good buy for the $

I have been told that the the quality has gone way down on the new production. Poor finishes and uneven rails...ready for a trip to your favorite refacer.
