I bought a Z from W.W.B.W.When I opened the case and inspected the
horn I discovered a small ding on the bell under the rim.I calledW.W.B.W.
immediately and they could not have been more helpful.Within four days
I received another horn. They payed for shipping back to Indiana for the
first one. What is of interest to me is that before I sent the dinged horn
back I tried it out.It sounded fine but not as (how can I describe it?)
"big" as my old Conn10M.The second horn shocked me though. It's
tone is just as "intense" as the Conn but more centered.I took it to a
friend here in Maui who is a professional and plays a Mk.6He was
extremely impressed with the sound and the keywork.I thought that
with computerized manufacturing that all saxophones of a model would
sound alike. This was definitely not true in this case.Does anybody know
why this would be true?
