Plasticover reeds being discontinued

I have just heard yet another rumour that the Plasticover 3 1/2 reeds are to be discountinued. I don't know wether it is that the half sizes are being discontinued or the whole Plasticover line themselves, or even just the bari sax version of these reeds.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Don't know for sure, but I played them for a couple of years. While they are more durable, I feel they have a lack of sound quality. If they work for you, great, but I can't say I'm too affected by it. I have found that the harder the reed the longer they last, but I don't know if that's why you use them. Anyways, if this is the case, good luck finding something else.
