The new Ralph Morgan "Vintage" Model mouthpieces are now in production and we are ready to start taking orders. These are made of a special formula (used only by Ralph) which contains 30% natural rubber. They have an "increased chamber cubic volume" which produces a traditional tone quality along with accurate tuning. As with all of Ralph's mpcs, they are hand finished to exacting specifications. They are reasonably priced and available in sop, alto, tenor, bari, soprano clarinet, and bass clarinet. Several facings available for each model. These represent one of the best mpc values on the market.

I know there will be tons of questions about how these compare to the other Morgan models and I don't have the answers yet, but will be providing more information as I receive it. Check out www.junkdude.com for more information and prices.

Dave,

I'm interested in Ralph's new line of mouthpieces -- in particular, for soprano sax. When you're able to learn more them, please see if you can find out how the "Vintage" soprano mouthpiece compares with respect to chamber volume and length to Ralph's classical soprano mouthpiece. I'm wondering if this could be a good match for vintage soprano saxes such as Buescher. Thanks!
