Has anyone heard of this saxophone? It's currently not playable but the owner says it's been around since the early 1900s. I think it would be fun to have as a collector's piece. Does anyone know of Gautrot Marguet Paris? It's possible the spelling was wrong in the initial post. I did a google but didn't come up with anything.

Guatrot = distributor of the Sarrusophone = one of A. Sax's most bitter enemies.

They're one of the many companies that got amalgamated into Couesnon.

The horn that you'd get would quite probably be high pitch and not much more than a curiosity.

I've no opinion on the actual playability of any of these horns because I've never played one.
