I just picked up an old project bari and it came with 3 mouthpieces that are all in good to excellent shape. Any insight regarding playability, history, value, on the following pieces would be appreciated:

Berg Larsen 100 0 T, SMS, looks like a duckbill with a bullet chamber, excellent condition.

SML R4, excellent condition large chamber rubber piece.

Martin, 1*, marked Martin Handcraft, 6 Moor St., London W.I., interesting piece with slot cut into either side of the table with a lig that slides into this slot and a reed cover that slides into the lig, a couple nicks on the sides of the rails.

I believe all of these pieces are fairly old since the horn is likely from the 1950s or earlier. If interested, there is a topic regarding this bari in the Keilwerth section titled Pennsylvania Special Bari.

Forgot to mention, the Berg Larsen is a hard rubber piece.

The Berg should be a nice mpc, the others may be ok too but compared to the Berg they may lack the punch necessary for use on a Baritone. Teh Berg will be modestly valuable but they others will have limited value or appeal to other players.

Old Bari Mouthpieces No old metal Link's or anything in there, are there??

No, though that would be nice. I sort of figured I did pretty well to get 3 decent pieces as it was. That was actually part of the justification in buying this old project bari. I am often amazed by the mouthpieces I find when buying old horns. I once bought a Dolnet alto that came with a nice old Otto Link I didn't know about - very cool surprise!

Do you intend to sell these or renovate them for yourself?

Not sure yet. I have accumulated 5 bari mouthpieces now which is more mouthpieces than I need (especially since I don't have a playable bari at the moment) so I'll likely sell a couple once I get a chance to try them all out.
