Hello All!
I am fairly new to the saxophone world. I currently own and play a BU-3 Buescher Soprano Saxophone that I like very much.

I was looking into getting a Buescher Tenor Sax, since I've enjoyed my Soprano Sax so much. I did find one, and it says it is a Buescher Aristocrat. I've been researching, and I'm guessing it may have been made around 1965? The cereal number is 445671. I'm wondering if anyone thinks this will be any good, or if it might very well be a piece of junk. I don't know enough about the Aristocrats to know if there was a good era and a bad or anything like that. I also saw that there was none of the detailed tooling I saw on most of the Aristocrats. It had a white/blue? label that kind of had a circle wrapped around "Buescher USA" and Aristocrat is printed under that. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a bunch

That's a post Selmer buy out horn. Some people on this board play these so I'll let them comment on it.

Is that a good or a bad thing do you think? Would it be better to look for something else? I also saw a Selmer 1244 that looked nice for a decent price. I'm on a budget, but I'm still not willing to settle for the bargain bin junk. No rush, just looking at some of them.
