Does anyone know if the masterpiece necks are available for Alto? If yes, has anyone tried them?

Thanks,
B.

I tried a Masterpiece on my VI alto. The intonation got much harder to control. I worked with it for a week but I just could tune the horn very well with it. It seemed no mouthpiece placement on the cork was "right."

If you still want one; email me and I'll get you in touch with my friend who's selling one.

MM,
thanks for your input. I was planning on gettin gon ein order to improve intonation on my VI. If you have problems, I think I will try one of the Selmer copper necks.

Got one for my A990 Yani, very nice, bought the bare brass. Nice , responsive, great altissimo, nice core sound, fitted it myself w no probs, has a little nicer core sound than the stock Yani, more like my MK6 in sound.
