875 vs. 62

can someone give a rough outline of the differences between the two. i have been unable to distinguish the differences on the yamaha site, or any of the dealer sites i have been to. i am planning on visiting woodwind/brasswind store this weekend and wanted some advice before I head up there.

your probably not getting a specific answer because there isnt one. I am trying a few new 62II altos and find that they do play different from my custom 875. After playing them side by side I still prefer my custom. But not because its better just different.

i figured that was the case. i will hopefully be able to play them both this weekend to see which I like better.

Which do you prefer?

Having only played the dukoff, and being...fairly please, i only played it for maybe 5 mins max, but it sounded good, and with a bit of work i might get somewhere, but how do you rate the yana against it?

What are the baffles like for these MPC's?

If this should be in mouthpiece topic, i'm sorry, maybe a mod could move it.:D
