Okay, so I'm expecting about 75,000 people in my back yard for a Phish show about 20 miles up the road the first weekend in August.
Of course, the hippie in me can't wait!
Anyone here thinking about coming up for it let me know. I'm planning to camp out on-site, but if enough people are interested, I just might have a few people stay at my tundra hut & commute up.

Where's this happening? The old Presque Isle Air Base. 8)

Nope, it's at the former Loring Air Force Base in Limestone. They've played twice there before...right on the runway.

I've been informed that a bunch of local blues bums are setting up a base camp on site. I've also been informed that it's my duty to join the scouting party as soon as the gates open...
Good thing I've got enough vacation time saved up to be one of the first in line.
It's looking more & more like the tundra hut thingy is out as these yayhoos are talking gas-powered generators & RVs. Also, I started thinking about the commute to & from. Those roads are going to be jammed all weekend so a 20 minute ride willl more-than-likely end up being 2+ hours.
If that's the case & as events shape up, hopefully things will be planned that any of you folks that come up will be able to easily identify the encampment. I'm going to be as close to the actual concert grounds as possible...
...maybe some kind of flag...
...then we can jam at 3am...

I can just imagine the traffic tie-ups on route one, from Houlton to Caribou.I here some talk about extending I-95 from Houlton to Fort Kent. Go Phish! 8)
