I wouldn't do anything until you've done what you said in your other post.

Check with the experts!

You will get a lot of good info here by doing a few searches. You also need to talk to some reputable dealers who can tell you what will fit within your budget. (Dave Kessler comes to mind. Go to his website at the link above and then give him a call.)

And you only want it to last 3 years???? There are some nice horns out there that won't break the bank and will last for a long time.

Good luck and don't rush into buying something that looks to good to be true. 'Cause it probably is!

3ad3oy: Good advice . . . before you fall for this eBay ad, give Dave Kessler a call (his advertisements support this site). I wouldn't buy the horns in that eBay ad with your money. DAVE

Sure, it'll last at least 3 years, probably longer. Unfortunately, it will be unplayable for that entire time.

Do yourself a favor and buy a nice used brand name horn that will actually generate musical notes, instead of opting for a shiney, multi-colored door stop.

Shikes!!!

They sure don't want you to see any detail in the photos!
And the most important thing seems to be the flavouring in the reeds.

It is irresponsible to the planet, making this stuff to fill rubbish dumps. It is so difficult getting the copper back out of the dump when the world runs out of that non-renewable resource.

i'll still test everything in the package for my review though :P

Well, this is as good a case as I've ever seen of someone asking folks opinion, and then doing the exact opposite.

Don't say we didn't warn you.

I'm amazed at these idiot sellers on ebay. The ad makes a big deal about how the sax comes with a serial number. Like that's something special. Geez.....

I've never driven or owned a Yugo, but I still wouldn't buy one. Did you know that many if not most competent repair shops will not work on this sax? Why? Because you will expect it to play right when they finish with it. And they don't think that is likely.

A cheap outdated FIAT that was built in Yugoslavia in the 80s. It sold new for under $4,000 then. A pretty bad car!
