tomorow im getting a "new" yas-62, actually its used, but been played once or twice, and for 2000$ with taxes, its not a bad buy.
anyways, i want to buy a nice case for it, something that will protect it well, so not a cheap gigbag, but something portable, so not a standard wood case like it comes in.
id like to have a few suggestions before i order one. i dont live in a big center, and the closest music shop with woodwind accessories is about 400 miles away, so i want to know what to order.
cases are the only thing onsaxes i dont have experience with, lol
thanks in advance

Good! I was about to say $2000 is way too much!
My favorite case without question is the Hiscox Liteflite.

Tyler - please dig around a bit here, and in the alto and tenor threads and you'll find a lot of discussion on cases which, I think, will give you the answers you're looking for.

Check out my6/23/03 post about Selmer Vanguard cases.
Taylor Music South Dakota is selling them reasonably.
