Custom Bionix Quantum or XL hight baffle?

the x.l can give a sanborn like sound. i havent played the bionix yet but its also very bright.the custom and quantum on alto are not for sanborn stlye playing

In my opinion nothing will sound like a Dukoff and no one will sound like Sanborn, althought the XL, like super20dan said, gets pretty close to it. The Bionix is edgy and loud also, but its sound is almost "dark" instead of bright and focus like the XL. I have no experience with the Custom so I can't comment on that. The volume level on both XL and Bionix is about the same.
