Hi everyone,
I was wondering if there is a difference in Mark VI's that have the French engraving vs. Mark VI's with the US engraving.
Thanks!

Same horn, different engraving. The mk6 was un-engraved and the engraving was an optional extra.Selmer supplied the US factory with un-engraved horns and they did their own engraving or not(depending on the customers request)

Also a darker shade of lacquer used on the American horn. Since the American Mark VI was shipped disassembled and re-assembled in Elkhart there is a serial number on the neck for tracking reasons (on the early/middle serial necks.) But the American and European horns are the same parts, same brass, all originally manufactured in Paris.
American engraving is prettier IMHO.

AMASAX -
Searching for Mark VI Engraving yielded over 100 pages in results. That's why I posted my question. Sorry for being redundant and perhaps you could give me an example of keywords that would retrieve a more specific subset.
Thanks
