That's a Yani copy of a Mark VI - complete with awkward palm keys and LH pinky cluster, and lacking a front F. It looks immaculate and if that's what you want, a reasonable, if fairly full, price for an early Yani. I am not sure how good the Yani copies were at that stage, I haven't played one, but then I prefer modern sopranos. I think I have dealt with the seller and certainly have nothing bad to report.

I played one of these Yani's for several years before switching to a Jupiter Artist.
The ergonomics are a bit less friendly than more modern horns, but the intonation is great.
Oleg Products offers a bolt-on front F key to fit this horn. It can also benefit from Oleg's RH side key risers.

Yanagisawa sopranos have a fabulous reputation and not without good reason - I play one which i selected from a range of top instruments. I liked the good intonation and solid build quality.
The Selmer MkVI sopranos have a reputation because of the altos and tenors and because Coltrane played one.. They do not have the key work of the altos and tenors and if you want a more modern sax with the keywork of an antiquie go ahead. It'll probably be quite good - Yanagisawas always are.

I hesitated buying it because I decided I really want a straight soprano witha curved neck, or a modern curved soprano. I have a curved Conn which I like a lot, but want to add something different. You know how it is :D
