anyone tried the launeddas?

Has anyone here tried the launeddas? For those wondering about it, it's a traditional polyphonic reed instrument from Sardinia that's played using circular breathing (more info at http://www.sardinia.net/sonus/). Back to my question: if you have tried it, how did it feel? Also: how did you come across the instrument?
