Hi,

I recently went into a store intent on buying a YAS-62 but also play tested a Jupiter 969GL, Selmer series III, and a Yamaha Custom YAS-875. To my ears, the 969GL, and the YAS-875 sounded the best. Have people played the Jupiter I'm describing and if so what do they think of them?

The 900 series is 1 step ABOVE the 800 artist series.
I've played a 900 series Tenor.
Except for the fact it was laquered as opposed to silver plated I didn't notice much of a difference between it & my 800 series, it's similar.
There is also a 2000 series out as well in alto, you may wish to look at that too, however it may be out of your price range.
