I found these saxes on ebay that this guy is giving away for nothing, and he has a pretty good background.
The name of the brand is "DC".

In most cases your better off buying a sax from one of the major brands. The thing that bothers me most about this dealer is the pure puffery he uses to pitch every horn he lists. His quote:
"When I played this sax, I could not put it down. I like it better than any Selmer that I have ever played, including the Mark VI."
He must of had a pretty sad Mark VI.
With that being said, I did puchase a Yanagiswa T901 about 3 years ago from this seller. I got it for a very fair price and the transaction went smoothly with no issues. But, I bought a horn "I was looking for" and did not pay attention to any of his exagerated statements. It has proven to be a good reliable horn for me.

Yeah, but you can never be too sure. I bought a nice Yamaha 52 off of ebay, and it worked very well.

But a Yamaha is a Yamaha. This thing is not. Search for this seller's name in the archives here. You may decide not to deal with him after reading what people have said.

I saw the same horn on ebay and inquired about it. I was told it was pretty much a copy of a yamaha 52. I don't know whether it was made in taiwan on elsewhere. for me personally, i stick with the name brands and there are tons of great quality used ones out there in fantastic condition that will last a lifetime and be reliable. the used name brand horns in great condition can prove a tremendous savings over a new one.
