Have just bought a Yanagisawa 901 which I am very happy with apart from the appalling mouthpiece that is supplied with it.
So I need some recommendations for a metal mouthpiece for it?

By the way just to give you an idea of my tastes, I play an Otto Link Super tone master on my alto.

Should I go the Link route again or look elsewhere?

Cheers

Matt

I've got a Yani metal 7 for sale that plays very nicely.

I played a T901 over the weekend. It played nice. I would recommend you stay with a Link and use the NY model. I'm talking current production Links. I was using a Bob Ackerman Link copy and it was a bit bright. The new NY Links play darker.

If you haven't tried a Barone Jazz metal piece, I suggest you try it. The one I have for sale was awesome on a Yamaha Custom tenor, so I assume it would have a similar dark, husky tone on the Yani.
