Big "ups" to MojoBari (Keith) for a great job on a Dukoff tenor mpc he worked on for me. I like the power and projection of the Dukoff tenor, but many Dukoff "D" chamber pieces sounds thin and chirpy to me. Also, off-the-shelf Dukoffs are finished poorly.
Mojo opened the mpc to .115 (was marked D7, but actually much smaller than that!), fixed the rails, table, and chamber, etc. Now it has a bold, MANLY sound with a very wide dynamic range, and variety of tone from a whisper to a roar. Altissimo is just great.
The workmanship visually is a thing of beauty as well.
I went to Mojo for this item because I heard he really knows his way around a Dukoff, but I hear he does other pieces as well. :)
Thank you Keith!
