I have seen a microphone clamp that encircles the sax bell and has a connection for a full size dynamic microphone. I cannot remember the name of the clamp and I don't know where to buy one. If anyone knows either the name of the clamp, or where I can purchase one, I would greatly appreciate hearing from you!
Thanks

Bootman,
Yes, I'm interested in your Keen Clamp. A photo would be great. Also, can you tell me the diameter? I want to make sure it will fit my Selmer SA80. Is there a way we can exchange email addresses privately?
Thanks,

check his website for email...@bootmanmusic.com
One other thing I will relate/caution about the Keen clamp. I'ts nice and secure, but with a regular mic clip screwed onto the stem, it picks up a lot of low end thuds. This can be rolled off with some eq, and ina live situation may not be that noticable, but it is there. It's better with a drum mic, that has good isolation like a EV N/D 308, but that is a heavier mic,
Big Jay McNeely has used one, check http://www.geocities.com/meccavideo/bigjay for some pictures.
good luck. You might want to also check some local music stores that carry Shure products, they might have one gatheirng dust on a shelf in the back room.
