Anyone seen or tried out the new Otto Link RG for tenor? They're supposed to be the hot new thing from J.J. Babbitt....

man, my girlfriend bought me one in an 8 tip opening.....it's great! i was playing a regular link....it was a 7.....i wasn't near happy with it. i got this mouthpiece and it matched me perfectly, which is what is important. it seems to produce a very even tone (i mean it's uncanny) over the entire range of the horn, which gives you a good reference point. what i mean is every not has a similar starting point in terms of tone, giving you a common starting point to change your tone color as you see fit.

Everyone I know who owns one or has tried one says that its nothing but a Berg with the Otto Link name. Dont get me wrong, I love Bergs but if I want a Berg I'll buy a Berg!
I did hear that they do produce a nice tone.
