I noticed Phil Barone is selling some aftermarket necks with a bigger
bore.
Although I'm trying to control my G.A.S, especially after just having bought a clip on mic, I'm just wondering if anybody's tried an aftermarket neck on a Artist series horn.
Wondering what it would do & if it would be a big change...

BTW-Kareeser-the new Long & McQuade is open in Mississauga.
I was just there this am- small sax selection, but they have a B&S tenor on the wall, wish I'd have brought my mpc & a reed to try it out.

Yup, I visitied it the day after it opened and took in my sax.

Good service... I'm thinking of buying a couple books from there.

Jr... do they have any mouthpiece selections, or am I going to get rebuffed like I did in Burlington?

(Other than that, I haven't tried an aftermarket neck.. sorry, :P)

Honestly, I didn't see much in the way of mouthpieces (just like Burlington), I'd go to the downtown L&M.

I took a visit again, and purchased an S80 C*...

Just for fun... that brings my mouthpiece count up to three, :P

Three's nothing to complain/brag/harp about.

I've got 35 pieces I've refaced to SELL!

Thankfully I've found a mpc I LOVE (my Runyon Quantum) & don't see myself buying any more.
I've got 3, a hard rubber (plastic?) one that came w/ the horn that I've NEVER used, a Link STM 6* (that needs some work) & my Runyon.

Although I DO wonder what the Charlie A BBQ will be like, especially in comparison to my Quantum...

Well, send me the Link STM to get worked on first!

Funny you should mention that Merlin.

I showed you the Link back at L&M one day (the Jupiter Demo day??)
& I never knew it had an uneven table, messed up rails & tip until you looked at it.
I never use it anymore, but I really don't know apart from straightening it out, what I even want done to it.
Do I want it opened up a tad?
(I think you measured it to be a .091 instead of the .095 it should be)

Any suggestions??

Shoot me an e-mail if you want, I'm heading out to brave the malls for a bit....

Sent you mail, and I'm heading to the malls as well!

If you think you saw me in Dixie Value Mall...you probably did.

Ah, xmas is over. I hope you both got what you needed to buy, ;)

I myself headed out to square 1 in mississauga for some last minute shopping on christmas eve! (Not smart, :P)
