Saw a tenor in a pit orchestra that had a figure-8 brace between bell and body tube. (Picture two small circles where a Selmer has one big circle.) I asked the owner what kind of sax it was, and he said ``An old Conn.''

Well, it couldn't have been that old. I know what 10M's and 30M's look like. This wasn't one of them, and it had modern-looking table keys.

Anybody have any suggestions as to what model Conn has a figure-8 bell brace?

At first I thought maybe it was a Selmer Signet with an 'S' brace, but I found this on Pete's site: The Conn 110M DJH Modified Model

On Saxpics's site, it says that these horns are really couf superba I's-made by keilworth. This makes sense b/c the current production Keilworth's have the same 8 bell brace.
