new selmer soloist

I was wondering if people have tried the new soloist moutpieces and how they compare to the vintage ones and a C*S-80 mouthpiece. thanks

Greysun82: I have two of the new Soloists for alto (F-facings) and there is NO comparison to the S-80 C*. The Soloist is the finest I've found for alto, so far, although I have a new Super Session-alto enroute about which I will report after I play it.

I cannot comment about the old Soloists, but others have said there was little if any difference between old and new manufacture. DAVE
