not sure if you guys already know, but i was kinda just mosing along the internet (as always) and decided to hit up saxgourmet. yup, the store's up, and if nothing else, it is a pretty interesting, albeit weird, experience.

I agree, though part of me wishes I could save big bucks on sax repair by buying a couple videotapes!

I wouldnt get my hopes up. Not to knock Mr Goodman but after working on my own horns for a little while...and probably doing more than is prudent, I found the tape to be interesting, curious, and offering a general overview to repair. However, It didnt really change the way I do much. While it is not devoid of educational value I felt that for the most part that I was glad I didnt spend a hundred bucks on it. IMHO it is sorely lacking details in critical areas. Overall, a good tape but a technician it does not make.
